How do I choose between HN series and 6TC series IGBT modules?

Choose HN series for high-frequency applications requiring switching speeds up to 50KHz, such as welding machines, induction heating, and high-performance motor drives. HN series offers faster switching with Vce(sat) around 2.0V. Choose 6TC series for cost-sensitive motor drive applications where switching frequency is typically 5-15KHz. 6TC series provides excellent cost-performance ratio with Vce(sat) around 1.8V, making it ideal for general-purpose industrial inverters and EV applications.

Browse our IGBT modules category to compare HN and 6TC series specifications and find the optimal solution for your switching frequency requirements.
