How do I choose between HN series and 6TC series IGBT modules?

HN series is designed for high-frequency applications up to 50KHz, such as welding machines and induction heating, with Vce(sat) around 2.0V. 6TC series is optimized for cost-sensitive motor drive applications with switching frequencies of 5-15KHz, offering excellent cost-performance ratio with Vce(sat) around 1.8V. Choose HN for high-frequency, 6TC for cost-sensitive motor drives.

What voltage rating should I choose for my application?

For 400V AC input systems (rectified to ~565V DC), use 600V or 650V rated modules. For 690V AC industrial systems (rectified to ~975V DC), use 1200V rated modules. How do I determine the right current rating for my motor drive?
